As most of you know, Im mum to 4 amazing kids.  My life completely revolves around my family and starting my own business has been a blessing that allows me to work around them.  Since opening the salon back in April 2021, I was so lucky that I was able to start with a small client base from my previous job in Falkirk, due to that salon closing. Since then I have quickly built my client list through social media posts, online searches and referrals from clients.  

I’m starting this blog as I feel now, after having my last baby, I am starting to get a part of myself back.  Pretty much everyone that knows me, knows how much I absolutely love being a mum! At school I never really knew what I wanted to do when I grew up, I mean who does at 12 years old when they are making you choose your subjects to decide what kind of career you want, but I always knew I wanted to be a mum.  I actually made a pact with my best friend at 14, that if we didn’t have kids by the time we were 30 then we would have kids together (like that was really old to have kids).  I think he was secretly relieved when I phoned him and told him I was pregnant at 21.  Fast forward 12 years and my family is now complete.

I am now taking more time for myself and I’m going to keep this fortnightly blog as authentic as possible, discussing the highs and lows of motherhood, what it’s like being a beauty business owner and sharing a few of my tips and tricks of the beauty industry.
